1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Your DNA Stack website at www.yourdnastack.fyi (the “Site”) and any digital products or services offered through it, including the DNA Analysis Report (“Services”). Your DNA Stack is a trading name operated from Australia. By accessing the Site or purchasing a Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase any paid Service. By using the Site you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Educational purpose only (not medical advice)

All content on the Site, including the DNA Analysis Report, is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. You must not rely on anything on the Site as the basis for medical decisions. Always consult your doctor before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, medication, or health protocol.

4. DNA Analysis Service

The DNA Analysis Service allows you to upload a raw genetic data file that you have obtained from a consumer genetic testing provider (such as AncestryDNA or 23andMe) and receive a digital report summarising published research associated with specific genetic variants.

By using this Service you confirm that:

  • The file you upload is your own data, or data you have explicit authorisation to use;
  • You understand the report is educational and does not diagnose, treat, or predict any disease;
  • You accept that genetic science is continually evolving and interpretations may change;
  • You will not use the report to make medical decisions without first consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

5. Payments

Paid Services are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. All pricing is shown at checkout. By completing a purchase you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method. Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please review it before purchasing.

7. Account and access

Access to your DNA report is provided via a secure link sent to the email address you supply at checkout. You are responsible for keeping that link and any associated access tokens confidential. Reports and access links expire 30 days after purchase, after which the report is permanently deleted.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload data that is not your own or that you are not authorised to use;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute any part of the Site or a report;
  • Use the Services to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment to any third party;
  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including the structure and wording of any DNA report, is the intellectual property of Your DNA Stack and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access the Site and your own generated report for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information or report is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your DNA Stack and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from a paid Service is limited to the amount you paid for that Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Your DNA Stack submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
